Rule out the boring causes

Do these five checks so nobody can dismiss your report as an old client.

  1. Run codex --version - Astra in Codex needs 0.153.0+. Upgrade first, re-check model picker.
  2. Update to the latest ChatGPT desktop app (the old Codex app merged into it) and check the model list on web too.
  3. Confirm you are in the right account / workspace - paid plan, good standing, no seat confusion.
  4. Open Settings -> Usage and count banked resets. Expect 2 (Sep 3 + Sep 4) as an existing Plus/Pro/Business user. Screenshot it.
  5. Note each surface separately: Astra in Chat? In Work? In Codex? Work-yes/Codex-no is the known split.
