On Sep 3, OpenAI's Codex lead promised one banked reset for every day without Astra access, first landing in ~3 hours. The Help Center now documents exactly two grant days: Sep 3 + Sep 4. Work yes / Codex no
OpenAI says availability can differ between Chat, Work and Codex. An account can hold Astra-powered GPT-6 in Work while Codex still shows GPT-5.6 only. That split is the most-reported pattern - the survey splits all three surfaces.
Missing reset #2?
Existing Plus, Pro and Business users in good standing should have two resets (Sep 3 + Sep 4). Only showing one total? Check Settings -> Usage and send Support a screenshot. The Help Center says they can investigate.

How many banked resets should I have?

Does buying credits unlock Astra faster?

No exclusion has been documented. The rollout is described as gradual and account-by-account, not region-blocked.
Where do I check my resets?
ChatGPT desktop app, CLI or web: Settings -> Usage. Look for "1 reset available" / "Full reset". Applying a full reset refreshes 5-hour and weekly windows and moves your weekly reset date.
